It is Mr. Trump’s boldest step to tyranny. For Mr. Trump, it is Muslims and people of color. As your editorial notes, Mr. Trump is using these four women to tarnish his main political opponent, the Democratic Party. We must recognize that his racism is part of a larger assault on our democracy. It dramatizes the fact that the entire pattern of Mr. Trump’s behavior meets every criterion for “high crimes and misdemeanors.”
